Introduction to SIS PW01 module
This is a power supply module for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), which is one of the core basic components of SIS systems, providing stable and reliable power for controllers, input/output modules, and other safety related equipment. According to different manufacturers, there are mainly two versions:
1、 Core positioning
PW01: SIS Power Supply module is responsible for converting external AC power into the DC power required by the SIS system, and is the power foundation for the normal operation of the entire safety instrument system.
Series: SIS automation spare parts system, often used in conjunction with modules such as PM01 (processor), BI01 (digital input), CM01 (communication), AI3281 (analog input), etc., to form a complete SIS control system.
2、 Working principle
PW01 receives external AC power (110-240V AC), which is internally rectified, stabilized, and filtered to output stable 24V DC for use in safety equipment such as SIS controllers, I/O modules, and sensors. The module has built-in redundant switching logic, which automatically switches to the backup power supply when the main power supply is abnormal, ensuring that the SIS system does not power off or shut down.
At the same time, the module is equipped with RS-485 communication interface, which supports real-time uploading of power status (voltage, current, fault alarm, etc.) to the upper system for remote monitoring and diagnosis.

CM01: Communication module, exchanges status data with PW01 through RS-485
