ABB 07KR51 1SBP260511R1001 is a basic control unit in the ABB Advant Controller 31 (AC31) series, belonging to the AC31 series 40/50 platform. It is the core controller for small and medium-sized industrial automation applications in this series.
This module has approximately 60 built-in I/O points and a program storage capacity of 34KB. It supports up to 1000 digital I/O points and 258 analog inputs/224 analog outputs for system level expansion. The input frequency of the hardware counter can reach up to 7kHz, allowing for a maximum working altitude of 2000 meters.

Communication capability is a prominent feature of this controller. It adopts ABB’s unique FBP (Fieldbus Plug) bus technology, and users do not need to change the communication interface hardware. They only need to replace different types of FBP bus adapters to freely switch between fieldbus protocols such as PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet, Ethernet, ARCNET, CANopen, etc. All changes are automatically recognized and do not require special settings. The controller motherboard integrates communication interfaces (optional Ethernet or ARCNET) and is equipped with FBP bus adapters, which can accommodate up to 4 plug-in expansion communication modules. In addition, there are two serial ports that can be used for programming, ASCII communication, Modbus communication, or CS31 communication.
In terms of human-computer interaction, the module is equipped with a backlit LCD display screen and operation buttons, as well as an SD card slot for convenient program storage and data management.
In terms of local expansion, the CPU motherboard is equipped with local I/O expansion module interfaces, which can accommodate up to 10 expansion modules, such as digital I/O modules like 07BT62R1 (GJV3074303R1) and various I/O expansion units like 07DI92.
The programming tool is AC31GRAF (also known as 907 PC 331), which fully complies with the IEC 61131-3 standard and supports programming languages such as instruction lists, functional block diagrams, ladder diagrams, etc. On site programming and debugging can also be carried out through TCZ handheld terminals.
The power supply supports 24VDC or 120VAC power supply, and the installation method is DIN rail card mounting, using detachable screw type terminal blocks.
