ABB 70PR05B-ES HESG332204R0001 is a switching power module in the ABB Freelance 2000 (70 series) DCS distributed control system. It is the basic power supply unit of the system and provides stable DC working power for the control station and I/O modules.

This power module supports redundant configuration and can form a 1+1 redundant power supply with another power supply of the same model. When the main power supply fails, it automatically switches seamlessly to ensure uninterrupted operation of the control system. The module has built-in overload protection and short circuit protection functions. When the output power exceeds 105% to 150% of the rated value, it enters current limiting mode. After the fault is eliminated, it can automatically recover without manual intervention.
This product has been officially marked as discontinued by ABB and replaced by new generation DCS platforms such as AC 800M. However, the Freelance 2000 system still has a large number of equipment in use in industrial fields such as power, petrochemicals, metallurgy, papermaking, and water supply worldwide.
